A lot of thickening products feel heavy once they build up in the coat. Others leave the coat sticky or overly stiff, making it difficult to brush through or maintain naturally.

Silhouette was designed to help support coat presentation without leaving behind that overloaded coated feeling. The finish stays flexible, workable, and adjustable depending on how much product you use and the type of coat you are working with.

For Full Strength Application:

Apply Silhouette evenly throughout a wet coat using your hands. Comb through to ensure even distribution. Allow the product to remain in the coat for 2–3 minutes before drying.

Blow dry using a forced-air dryer, starting at the roots for best results. For additional smoothing and topline control, finish with a flat iron if desired.

For Diluted Application:

Mix 1 part Silhouette with 15 parts warm water in a misting bottle.

Spray lightly onto a wet or dry coat.

Allow the product to dry from the roots outward.

The amount of product needed will vary depending on coat type, coat condition, humidity, and desired finish. Coarse or dense coats may require more product.

Will Silhouette leave the coat sticky?

No. Silhouette was designed to leave the coat workable and natural feeling without heavy sticky buildup.

Can Silhouette be used on double coats?

Yes. Application amount should be adjusted depending on coat type and desired finish.

Can I use Silhouette before drying?

Yes. It can be applied to damp coat before drying or lightly used on dry coat for finish work and outline control.

Does Silhouette help with flyaways?

Yes. It helps smooth and control stray hairs while still maintaining natural movement in the coat.
